The other week, I went a little crazy-go-nuts on eBay and made a series of purchases that are just now arriving in the mail. Today, I want to share a pair of cards with you.

I sold this card on eBay:

If you remember, I had previously bought a Frank Brimsek from this set; these two came from the same dealer. Sure, they aren’t officially “certified” but I have it on good authority that they are the real deal. I mean, I could have paid $257.59 for this:

See, BAP used the same card but just placed a green border around it; I’m not paying 5x for that.

Anyways, I basically traded an athlete from a fake sport for autographs of two Hall of Famers from a real sport.
