The stats on Bossy’s card are ridiculous! I forgot just how crazy good he was.
The Ducks! I can’t in good conscience do the Ducks. I request an immediate swap for the Canucks.
Great finds, I love the 85-86 set, totally underrated as a set.
Thanks again for putting on the contest and I can definitely live with Detroit…..I’ll just pretend they are the Tigers for the next couple months!
time for a Shark bite
I’d take the Ducks off of your hands haha.
Comment #1: No where I ever go has a dime box
Comment #2: Regardless of dime box existence, no where I ever go has O-Pee-Chee cards in that quanity/quality/and condition.
Comment #3: Andrew Ference bothers me because in the three years he spent with Pittsburgh, he never amounted to much and didn’t live up to the expectations of a first or second line defenseman. He was a much better player in the WHL. Just my opinion.
@Dave H.: Agreed that the 85-86 set is underrated. Love that year through 87-88.
@dfg: This was the first time I’ve ever really spent time looking through a dime box/bin. The dealer a comic and card shop with an emphasis on comics. He had monster box after monster box of cards, but only one for hockey. Most of it was junk until I came across this little run of mid 80′s OPC.
